Glenn, Aubrey, and the Street Characters Team,

Bernie has finally been unveiled and we are proud to say his initial introduction was a huge success. The crowd gave him a massive cheer, the line up at his dog park was wrapped around the concourse, and we sold out of his plush dolls!!! Fantastic job to the Street Characters Team, and thank you all for creating a great mascot for the Colorado Avalanche.

We had a very busy week to kick off the season… the Pepsi Center Plaza of Fame was unveiled, Joe Sakic’s jersey was retired, we had a great Opening Night against the Sharks, and to cap it all off we unveiled Bernie. I am proud to say it was a very successful start to the season on a many different levels for the organization. Thanks again, and we’ll be in touch soon.

Dear Terry,
We would like to thank you and your staff so much for everything you've done for us and Ferrous. we are having a great tim with him and the fans really seem to like him. Again thanks for all your hard work on our mascot.

We introduced the mascot with lights dimmed and a spotlight on the entrance. We had a lot of people at the pep rally, and the crowd erupted into a huge cheer when the mascot came out. I knew right then that we made the right decision. Thank you for all of your patience working with us. In the end, it was totally worth it.
